Dan Nelson, Vice President / Associate / Agent

|
| “I’ve found that doing the hard work—finding answers to the difficult questions about a property—gives comfort to both buyers and sellers and results in more successful transactions.” |
Experience:
- Dan has worked at Highland Commercial for seven years, taking a break in 2005 to get his law degree. While in law school, Dan completed internships with Holland and Hart, the Utah Fourth District Court, and the White House Office of Administration in Washington, D.C. During his internships, he worked on projects and cases involving real estate contract litigation, EPA Brownfield cleanup, Freedom of Information Act litigation, and government office leases. In addition to the standard legal training, Dan took courses in real property conveyance, corporate and real estate finance, and water law. As an agent for Highland Commercial, he has managed the purchase and sale of both minor and major transactions involving contract negotiation, property research, title issues, creation of marketing materials, advertising, due diligence, and closing. When out of the office, Dan enjoys golfing, fishing for cutthroat trout, and chasing his one-year-old daughter around the house.
